MANAGEMENT TEAM

Building on more than a half-century of recycling and waste management experience, in both Fortune 500 and successful start-up companies, the management team at Blue River Resources brings an unparalleled vision and wealth of knowledge to Delaware.

Bob Hronsky, CPA

Bob brings more than 25 years of diverse accounting, finance and systems experience to Blue River Resources. Prior to joining Blue River Resources, he served as Controller and Director of Finance at Recyclebank. Previously, Bob held senior level management positions at BI International, BDO Seidman LLP and other financial, technology and service firms. He holds a BS degree from State University of New York, Buffalo. Bob serves as Blue River Resources’ Controller.

James Hale

James brings over 10 years experience in facility development and management to Blue River Resources. He built and maintained one of the largest and most sophisticated recycling facilities in the country. In addition to his business experience, James has served his country as a non-commisioned officer with a tour of duty in Iraq. James works in a Systems Engineer capacity for Blue River Resources.

Robert Lavanway

Robert has managed various recycling facilities in the mid-Atlantic region over the last four years. In this capacity he was responsible for all operational aspects of these businesses including production, safety, quality, human resources, sales, etc. Robert holds a BS from Bethel College in Organizational Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Herb Northrop

Herb is a recycling and resource management veteran with over 32 years of experience. In addition to developing and managing numerous start-up companies, Herb also spent over eight years with the large public company Browning-Ferris Industries in Business Development. He founded the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest full-service recycling company in 2000, Blue Mountain Recycling. Later in 2005, he helped launch the City of Wilmington’s recycling program. He is a founding investor and serves on the Board of Directors of Recyclebank. Herb serves as Blue River Resources President.
